Anyone who'd like to see a (non-jointed) version of this pic, along with a BUNCH of photos showing how i make him, check out my Tumblr page,. [link] Its the center of all my "work in progress" photos
for those who think Tumblr is evil and refuse to go there heres an early photo where i was using a bad resin cast to test out his posability
The background is of course the wall I made in my "earlier posted" set tutorial,
The set doesn't look great (I didn't think it would end up so close to the camera and clearly in focus) but it serves its purpose and id much rather see him in a grungy handmade set than in front of another one of my"tasteful" dull ass backdrop, lol.. but until I actually get a few more characters finisehd Im probably not going to be building any nice finished sets.
For those interested, I will be taking orders for Steve starting next week, soon as i do ill post more information about him and the ordering process
I love your Steve, he's so animated looking, so very different from most bjds. I am never more inspired to go and make a bjd than when I see Steve and how unique and stylized he is. I especially love the faceup and how toony the beard is drawn.
Thank you, Im really glad you like him Theres allot of cool styles that for some reason haven't been explored in the BJD world, he was allot of fun to make
Nooooooooooo I want a Steve SO BAD! Too bad I just traded my Monzo instead of sold him, I'd have the funds for one if so XD That aside, I've always admired your sculpts and your work, but Steve here is the first one of your boys that I have been all like aughhrghbrgle NEED. I really like him, in other words.
he is so cool!!! i will keep a look out for your order details....but i dont hold much hope my funds are limited *sniffle* still i can adore your work photo's and sculpting
Thanks allot, im really glad you like him, I do take layaway orders on all my figures/dolls so if your ever interested im sure i could probably work with you on something
