Its been a while since my last post so i thought i should let you all know I'm still alive, Ive been maddeningly busy with commissions, finishing the studio and working on the 40 Steves.
The Studio is finally up and running, I still need to do some finishing work (window trim/baseboards) but all the stuff i need to work is finisehd, It feels soo strange not having to worry about tripping over stacks of molds or jugs of resin, Soon as i get time during the day I'll take a nice photo of the finished space.
The Steves are going well, Because of the delay in finishing the studio the Steves are a bit behind but I still expect to begin shipping the kits toward the end of Feb.
And last but not least here's a "sneak peek" at my next release Vince, Hes still at the rough stage so he'll change a bit.
I'll be posting more info on him over the next month and once all of the Steves are shipped I'll open up preorders for him as well as preorders on Steves additional expressions.
Oh yea,.. Vince is mostly made of Apoxie Clay, normally i work in supersculpey or chavant but lately Ive fallen in love with Apoxie Clay.
Wow, he looks amazing! I'm glad to see some progress pics on him. As it is, I can't wait until I get my very own Steve kit in my greedy hands. Lookin' good there!
oh shit oh shit oh shit! This is what I've been waiting to see signs of. I like how its coming along! Keep it up the great work, can't wait to see this finished!
Thanks man, Im glad you like the progress I cant wait to finish him either, Im going to cast his armored chest-piece and midsection in different materials that have shiny and metallic finishes, Ive done some tests and it looks pretty cool.
OMG, I'm sooooo happy to see you're alive and well. I started to launch into panic mode the other day when I realized you'd been silent for a while. Glad to hear the Steve's are going well... I'm itching to get my claws on mine and start doing my work to him.
Vince looks amazing, I love that fur ruff (?) around his neck.
Haha,..Sorry about that, I tend to go dead online when I get really busy, I'll be allot more active now that the studio is finished Glad you like Vince so far,I have a really cool milky, ultra matte finished, slightly translucent resin im going to cast that fur collar out of to give it a "fluffy" soft look, should look really neat against the shiny black resin I'm going to cast his armored chest-piece out of.
